Jaguar XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition coming for Christmas

As part of a marketing plan to promote the launch of the highly anticipated Jaguar XJ, the car will be featured in the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book for the first time since 1968 (last year we had the 2009 Bmw 7-Series).

The 2010 Jaguar XJL Supercharged Neiman Marcus Edition will have a limited run of only 50 units at the price of $105,000. There’s no time to delay since order reservations open this Friday. Richard Beattie, Executive Vice President, Marketing & Sales of Jaguar, said that being a part of the Neiman Marcus Christmas Book is a spectacular way to launch the 2010 Jaguar XJ. The book feature is designed to attract the clientele of Neiman Marcus as well as automotive enthusiasts.

He added that the Neiman Marcus XJL Supercharged is unique and intelligent plus it demonstrates the brand’s commitment to producing fast, beautiful cars that offer luxury, performance and first-rate quality. The model is different from other XJ models due to its exclusive Celestial Black metallic paint exterior, 20-inch 10-spoke alloy wheels and illuminated tread plates.

For its interior, features include custom butter-soft navy and ivory leather with Zebrano matte wood accents. For more exclusivity, the car has a custom interior Intaglio that reads “Neiman Marcus 1 of 50.” Powering the car is Jaguar’s new 5.0-liter supercharged V8 putting out 375kW (510hp) connected to a 6-speed automatic transmission with paddleshifters behind the leather-clad steering wheel. Other luxury features include an 8-inch touch-screen and a 20-speaker Bowers & Wilkins 1,200-watt premium sound system.
