As you may know already the Audi e-Tron Concept made its debut back in September at the Frankfurt Motor Show showing the future of the electric sports cars. The concept is powered by four electric motors capable to develop 313 hp (230 kW) and an impressive 4,500 Nm (3,319.03 lb-ft) of torque. The car can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.8 seconds and from 60 to 120 km/h (37.28 – 74.56 mph) in 4.1 seconds while the range delivered is 248 kilometers. The e-Tron concept was confirmed by Audi of America President Johan de Nysschen for a 2012 debut. Today, we found out some more from our source based in Ingolstadt. It appears that the production version of the Audi e-Tron Concept will be offered in a very limited edition due to the fact that the technology used is to build it is expensive and the market is not yet ready for this type of cars.
